Tourney Outlook
UNI, Illinois State, Bradley and Valparaiso have each secured a spot in the six-team MVC Volleyball Tournament which will be held at Missouri State November 22-24. Loyola and Missouri State currently occupy the final two spots in the tournament race with a week remaining during the regular season. Drake is also alive in the race for a conference tourney spot.
New Career Digs Queen
Illinois State senior Courtney Pence became the all-time MVC career digs leader with her fourth dig in Illinois State’s 3-0 sweep of Loyola Friday. The senior finished the match with 12 digs as the first place Redbirds won their 11th-straight match.
