Pepperdine has retained their #1 ranking in the AVCA Beach Rankings this week after an undefeated 4-0 weekend at the Gamecock Grand Slam. UCLA, on the other hand, forged their way up to the #2 slot from #4 after sweeping through their opponents at the LMU Invitational.

USC continues to drop in the rankings to #3 from #2 after a 3-2 weekend at the Outrigger Hawaii Invitational. At the same event, Hawaii ended the tournament with an undefeated record but still fell in the rankings – after taking down USC twice – to #5 from #3.

LSU creeps up in the list to #7 from #9 while LBSU falls back to #8 from #7.

Minor shifts were made in the back half of the top-20, aside from Florida Atlantic falling back to #20 from #15 and TCU dropping out of the rankings to be replaced with #19 Cal. Cal is riding an 11 match win streak after losing their first dual of the year to Saint Mary’s on February 24.
