Chemik Police and Grot Budowlani Lodz sit atop the rankings after two weeks of play in the Polish Women’s League with six points each. The six points represent that each team has swept their opponents in each week of play – earning three points for a sweep.

Natalia Medrzyk and Katarzyna Zaroslinska each posted 16 points in Chemik Police’s win three-set sweep over Trefl Proxima Krakow on the road. Stefana Veljkovic added in another nine in the win. Leading the way for Grot Budowlani Lodz in their sweep over POLI Budowlani Torun was Kaja Grobelna with 18 points while Agnieszka Kakolewska added in another 11.

Grobelna is looking for Grot Budowlani Lodz to be in medal contention this season, but that it is important to win each match this season. With the sweep, the squad scored three more points to their total to sit in first place with Chemik Police. Chemik Police took the Polish League title last season, while Grot Budowlani Lodz finished in third place behind Impel Wroclaw, who is struggling early on in the season.

LKS Commercecon Lodz needed five set to win their second match of the season over Polski Cukier Muszynianka Muszyna. Leading the team to victory was Regiane Bidias with 23 points while Izabela Kowalinska and Ewa Kwiatkowska added another 15 points along with Katarzyna Sielicka‘s 14.
