Class of 2020 recruit Ryann Gregg has committed to the University of Portland women’s volleyball program according to Jesse Sowa of the Corvallis Gazette-Times. Standing at 5’11”, Gregg is an outside hitter.
Gregg plays for both the varsity team at Corvallis High School and club with North Pacific Juniors Volleyball Club – specifically the Salem Forefront 18-1 team.
Last season as a sophomore, Gregg helped the Spartans to a 15-4 record and an appearance in the 5A Semifinals before winning the third place match. In that finale, Gregg posted a team-high 15 kills. So far this season with Gregg as a junior, the team is 8-0 according to MaxPreps. Individually she has been a First-Team All-State selection twice already.

Portland has something in common with Gregg and her junior season, as both are currently undefeated. The Pilots enter West Coast Conference (WCC) action at 12-0 and on the cusp of the top 25 in the latest VolleyMob Top 25 Power Rankings. They are coming off of a 15-15 mark in 2017.
