Coming into Saturday, the final day of the Ivy League regular season, Princeton needed a road win over Dartmouth to secure sole possession of the conference title and the league’s automatic berth to the NCAAs.
As fate would have it, Dartmouth came through with a 25-19, 25-23, 16-25, 16-25, 15-11 victory, dropping the Tigers to 10-4 in Ivy League action. Princeton was still guaranteed a share of the conference crown, its third straight.
New Haven it is.

Due to the fact that the Ivy League does not host a conference tournament, a one-match playoff will be played to determine the automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.
The match is slated for next weekend in New Haven. Yale earned the right to host the playoff by virtue of winning four of the seven sets played between the team this season. The date of time of the playoffs are still to be determined.
