Recently the Russian club of Kuzbass Kemerovo terminated their contract with Sebastian Schwartz, leaving a vacancy on the team. The club recently announced the addition of Olli-Pekka Ojansivu to the squad.

The Finnish native brings his talents to Russia, expanding the Finnish presence on the team, as the Finnish head coach Tuomas Sammelvuo and libero on the national team, Lauri Kerminen, are already with the team.

Ojansivu started this season in Iran playing for Shahrdari Urmia.

In other additions to the squad, Kuzbass also signs on Alexey Evseev, after Romanas Shkulyavichus ended his season due to an injury. Evseev will enter the team as a pin hitter. Prior to joining Kuzbass, Evseev was with Torch in New Urengoy.

For both players joining Kuzbass their contracts will extend only until the end of the season, for there to be negotiated.
