The early signing period prior to the start of the 2018 NCAA Volleyball season has commenced, with hundreds of future collegiate volleyballers committing to their schools.
Early signing period was from November 8, 2017-November 15, 2017. This is not the last time that prospective student-athletes can sign to their school’s of choice for the coming season, as the regular signing period opens up again on April 11, 2018, and will end on August 1, 2018.
A number of huge high school recruits are coming into the 2018 season, including Thayer Hall that will be heading off to Florida. Hall has earned a number of top honors for her play this past year, including a spot on the AVCA First-Team All-American list, named the 2017 Max Preps National Athlete of the Year, the MVP of the U20 Pan American Cup. Among other big names are Tennesse’s Lily Felts, Texas’ Asjia O’Neal and Wisconsin’s Julia Wohlert.
