Setter Angela Hudelson Transferring To North Dakota State

Angela Hudelson, a 5-10 setter, will join the North Dakota State volleyball team in the fall, transferring in from St. Francis Brooklyn College.

A sophomore out of Redwood, California, Hudelson completed two full seasons with St. Francis, who is apart of the Northeast Conference. In her sophomore season, Hudelson competed in 23 matches, including 12 starts, she averaged 4.72 assists per set adn 1.26 digs per set. She added 17 blocks and six service aces to her tally. In the teams season opener, Hudelson dished out a career-best 41 assists against Siena.

During her freshman season, Hudelson participated in all 30 matches including seven starts. She averaged 3.68 assists and 1.10 digs per set, adding 15 service aces and 10 block assists.

In her prep days, Hudelson averaged 6.9 assists, 2.88 digs and 1.82 kills per set. In 2013, Hudelson led her team to an Ocean Division District Championship, the school’s first since 2004. In 2012 and 2014 she helped the squad to the CCS playoffs.

Last season, North Dakota State ended their season with a 14-18 overall record and 11-5 in The Summit League.
