Southwest Minnesota State Reclaims #1 Rank In Division II

Southwest Minnesota State took over the #1 ranking of the AVCA Division II rankings this week, receiving 30 of the first-place vote to boot. Falling back out of the #1 spot is Lewis, who now sits at #6. Lewis fell back to #6 after being upset by Bellarmine, a team not having any votes in the previous week’s rankings in five sets.

Rounding out the top-five are Concordia-St. Paul (#2), Palm Beach Atlantic (#3), Minnesota Duluth (#4) and California Baptist (#5) – all moving up one position this week. Also moving up two positions this week are Northern State to #9, NW Nazarene to #10, Tarleton State to #11 and Arkansas Tech to #12. Central Oklahoma fell back to #13 from #10 while Regis plummeted to #14 from #9.

Joining this weeks poll are Wheeling Jesuit at #23 and Central Washington at #25.
