Texas Volleyball Star, Brooke Botkin Arrives Early At USC

Wanting to get a jump start on her collegiate career, Brooke Botkin graduated early from Pearland High School to enroll early with USC.

During her prep career in Texas, Botkin was an all-star outside hitter; however, will be joining the Women of Troy as a setter. Botkin recorded a number of records at Pearland with 4.88 kills per set, 13.65 kills per match and 2,155 career kills.

Botkin earned a number of awards during her high school career, including: 2016 Under Armour First-Team All-American, Wendy’s High School Heisman School Winner, Texas District 6A Volleyball Player of the Year, Texas State Newcomer of the Year as a freshman. She was a finalist in both 2015 and 2016 for the Gatorade Texas Player of the year and was named the #14 Prep Volleyball Senior Ace.

In club play, Botkin played five years for Absolute Volleyball Academy, also having played three years with the USA Youth A1 and A2 National Teams.
