The second round of the 2018 CEV Men’s Champions League has concluded their home and away matches. The third round of the competition will pick right back up on November 8 and 11 before taking nearly a month off before continuing into the fourth round.

In the home match front, all but one of the fourth matches were sweeps with the outlier being a five-set scramble. Forging through with sweeps were ACH Volley Ljubljana, Omonia Nicosia and Abiant Groningen. Fighting for the five-set victory was Maccabi TEL-AVIV over Shakhtior Soligorsk.

The three teams completing sweeps on the first day of play all won their away game matches, with Shakhtior Soligorsk forcing the split against Maccabi TEL-AVIV with a three-set sweep.

A line of competitors await the winners of round two in round three, gaining a bye from the first round of play.
