The women of Tulane’s indoor volleyball squad, fresh off of a season that tabbed the Green Wave as the most improved team in the nation, are now looking to the spring off season to continue their quest for an American Athletic Conference title. To strengthen his team, head coach Jim Barnes has added four scrimmages to the practice slate that will match Tulane up with some tough regional competition.

“We have put together a very challenging spring schedule to help build our 2017 team into an American Athletic Conference championship contender,” Barnes said. “After graduating six seniors, this will be a challenging spring to develop new leaders and implement more of our system. Although spring scrimmages don’t count on an official record, they are very important in developing a team.”
