There are finally no more undefeated teams in the Vestel Venus Sultanlar Ligi, as Fenerbahce was downed in four-sets by VakifBank this week. The loss moves them into second place in the league behind Ecazibasi VitrA.

VakifBank handed Fenerbahce their first loss of the season behind20 points from Zhu Ting. Ting has had her ups and down this season in the league but has a strong crew to back her up as three other players recorded double-digit points – Lonneke Sloetjes (19), Milena Rasic (16) and Gozde Kirdar (12). Fenerbahce’s top performer was Natalia Pereira with 16 points.
Eczacibasi VitrA solidified their first-place positioning in the league with a three-set sweep over ninth-place Seramiksan. Tijana Boskovic led the way with 17 points while Jordan Larson added another 12 in the sweep.
Galatasaray continues to move in the right direction with another win this week over Camerously Beylikduzu Vol. Iht. in three sets. They were led by Guler Neslihan Demir with 15 points while Dobriana Rabadzhieva added another 11 in the win.
