Two USAV Zonal Beach Camps Remain On Spring 2017 Docet

USA Volleyball’s Beach High Performance program concluded its Pacific Zone Skills Assessment Camp and is now preparing for its Border Zone Camp.

The Border Zone Camp will take place in Houston, Texas from April 1-2.

In the spring of 2017 there are a totals of four zonal camps that are offered. The remaining camp following Border will be the Central Zone in Cedar Rapids, Iowa from April 29-30. The camps all both girls and boys into the camp, with the stipulation that they are born between 1999-2006. To participate in the camp the athlete must be a U.S. citizen and have a current USAV membership. The athlete does not sign up for the camp with a partner and may attend more than just one of the events, with acceptance into the camp based off available space.

The camps are used as an assessment into the USAV Beach High Performance (BHP) program. To be accepted into the BHP an junior athlete must participate in one of the four zonal camps provided and approved by the coaches running the event.

The camps will be led by USA Volleyball Beach CAP certified coaches who have experience at the highest levels of the beach game.
