VakifBank Istanbul issued out a fun competition with other Champions League squads called the #NetDrop Challenge. The goal of the #NetDrop Challenge is to serve the ball just low enough that it clips the top of the net and falls in front of the three-meter line

In VakifBank, American Kelsey Robinson took on Lonneke Sloetjes in the challenge. It took until the final ball to successfully complete the challenge, as each competitor had five opportunities to serve the ball. Robinson on the 10th served ball clipped the net and dropped the ball inside the three-meter line to win the challenge.

This season,  VakifBank has only dropped one match to accumulate an 8-1 record on the year. This, however, sits them back in third place overall, as they are behind #1 Eczacibasi VitrA and Fenerbahce, who just lost their first match this past week. Sloetjes has been a regular fixture on the court, producing bug numbers for VakifBank night after night, while Robinson is more of the consistent player that will step up when needed.

On December 2, VakifBank will travel to Seramiksan to continue their Vestel Venus Sultanlar Ligi matches.
