The FIVB asked a number of top athletes at the World Tour event in Rio what their favorite places were in Rio along with their favorite beach. The overwhelming decision on favorite beach came down to the site of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio on Copacabana Beach.
The local Olympic Champions, Bruno Schmidt and Alison Cerutti prefer a more relaxing and quiet location such as Ipanema or Leblon.
