Watch: Russian Duo Liamin/Krasilnikov Take Gold In Kish Island

The second tournament of the FIVB World Tour took place in Kish Island, Iran as a 3-star tournament.

The all-male competition concluded on February 18 with a Liamin/Krasilnikov (Russia) three set victory over Poland’s Kantor/Losiak 2-1, (18-21, 21-19, 15-8.

The Russian duo dropped the first set of the match in a close 21-18 defeat. Having to fight back to win the title, Liamin/Krasilnikov dug deep, battling through the second to tie up the match at one all with a score of 21-19. In the deciding third set, the Russian pair buckled down, dominating over the Polish to take the 3-star event in a three set showdown 15-8.
