Wisconsin’s Season Ends In Heartbreak – Video

Wisconsin’s final week of their 2016 season started with a thrilling five set victory over Ohio State, coming back from 1-2.

The  Badger’s 2016 season was cut short with a five set heartbreaker to Stanford by scores of 25-18, 26-24, 21-25, 21-25, 9-15.

The team entered the NCAA Volleyball Tournament at their highest rank ever at No. 3. The team also achieved their programs first ever No. 1 ranking during the 2016 season.

The four seniors with the team, walked back out onto their court after the loss, one last time, to a standing ovation from the Wisconsin crowd. Tori Blake, Lauren Carlini, Romana Kriskova and Haleigh Nelson, said their final goodbye to the Field House.

“I’ve loved being apart of this program so much that all I can be is thankful that I’ve gotten to play with such amazing people, for such amazing people,” senior Lauren Carlini said.
