Wittenberg Remains DIII #1, Top-25 Changes Drastically

There were tons of changes made to the AVCA Division III Coaches Rankings this week, but Wittenberg escaped the week by remaining #1 in the country with an 11-0 record.

Scooting up to #2 this week in Colorado College while Emory and Trinity (TX) each moved up a spot to #3 and #4, respectively. Southwestern (TX) fell from #2 to #5 after posting a loss in the week.

Wisconsin-Whitewater moved up to #7 from #11, joining the top-10 along with Northwestern (MN) at #8 from #12 and Carnegie-Mellon from #13 to #10. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps moved back to #9 after being at #7 last week. Falling out of the top-10 were Mikkikin and Juniata who fell to #12 and #13 from #8 and #9, respectively.

St. Thomas broke the top-20, jumping to #17 from #21 along with Ohio Northern from #22 to #19.

Joining this week’s top-25 is Johns Hopkins at #24 and Chicago at #25. Falling out of the rankings are Cal Luthern and Cornell (Iowa).
