Long Beach State is the lone top-15 team that saw action on the beach on Tuesday, posting back-to-back sweeps of Concordia Irvine and Colorado Mesa at home.

The victories included two more sweeps from Nele Barber and Rachel Nieto at the 1 line, as they move to 13-0 this season for the 6th-ranked 49ers. They’re off this weekend, but they’ll get a big test next Monday when they host another triple-dual event with #14 Cal and #3 UCLA.

Elsewhere, St. Mary’s moved to 7-3 on the season with a 5-0 win over Pacific on the road for a big WCC conference win.. That’s the same record they had through 10 games last season.
