As the regular season wrapped up last week, more players solidified their spots among the elite 1,000 kill and 1,000 dig clubs.
Within that group, three players reached the ultimate club, reaching 1,000 career kills and 1,000 career digs.
With her 1,000th dig, Ohio State’s Luisa Schirmer joined the elite 1,000 kill, 1,000 dig club, ending her Buckeye career with 1,005 digs and 1,044 kills.
With her 1,000th kill, East Carolina’s Ashton Mares closed out her ECU career with 1,013 kills and 1,056 digs.
With her 1,000th dig in the Big East Championship match last weekend, Creighton junior outside hitter Jaali Winters joined the ranks of the 1,000/1,000 club, having tallied 1,369 kills and 1,003 digs.
Two new members bumped the active members of the 1,000-kill club to 144, while five players joined the ranks of the 1,000-dig club, bringing its tally to 230.

- Ashton Mares, East Carolina at Cincinnati, 11/22 (ends career with 1,013)
- Lindsey Vander Weide, Oregon at Oregon State, 11/25 (currently has 1,006)
1,000 Dig Club
- Zana Muno, UCLA vs. Oregon State, 11/22 (currently has 1,029)
- Alexis Dirige, Washington State vs. Arizona State, 11/22 (currently has 1,023)
- Sylvia Hernandez, Miami (Fla.) vs. Georgia Tech, 11/22 (currently has 1,017)
- Luisa Schirmer, Ohio State vs. Illinois, 11/25 (ends career with 1,005)
- Jaali Winters, Creighton vs. Marquette, 11/25 (currently has 1,003)
