QUOTABLE:
Jesse Mahoney, head coach
“We are on a roller coaster right now – we play great for long stretches then play poorly for long stretches. We had our chance to take control of the match in the third set off of some great serving by CeCe Simpson, but let the lead slip away. ASU got better as the melancholy progressed and we did not. We’ve got one more match this season on Friday and we will play for pride.”
