Recently graduated Kaitarina Raicevic, who played both beach and indoor volleyball for LSU and later University of North Florida, has announced on her personal Instagram page that she has signed a contract with Partizan Belgrade (Indoors), in her home country of Serbia. Here is how she broke the news to fans:

Well I thought that I am done with indoor volleyball, but before I jump back to beach volleyball season..I own my family to play in this jersey. So today, I signed my first professional contract with Partizan!! I am so happy since this was always a dream! My dad and mom ran for this team, and my brother is running now for Partizan. Partizan was always home and I am so excited to represent. So let’s do this

I will never be completely home again, because part of my heart will always be elsewhere. This is the price I pay for richness of loving and knowing people in more than one place. Appreciate you guys, and already miss you❤️Last sad post, I promise ?

ou never really leave the place you love. You take part of it with you, and leave the part of you there. Later Jax✌?
Off to my homeland ??

Partizan Belgrade is one of Europe’s oldest volleyball clubs. It was established in 1946 and dissolved in 1972, being re-established in 2016. It is currently ranked 7th out of 10 teams in the Serbian Superleague with a 2-7 record. Raicevic stated on twitter that the fact that both her parents and twin brother are also associated with Partizan athletically weighted a lot in her decision:
