SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has named its Volleyball Player of the Week for October 8, 2018, with BYU’s Roni Jones-Perry picking up her second straight honor as the Cougars stayed perfect at 16-0 and 8-0 in league action.

RONI JONES-PERRY, SR., OH – BYU
Senior outside hitter Roni Jones-Perry helped No. 1 BYU women’s volleyball beat league rival San Diego on the road in four sets last week to maintain its top spot in the conference standings and in the national poll.
In the win, Jones-Perry put up a match-high 23 kills (5.75 per set) with just three attack errors while hitting at a .465 clip. The All-American added six digs and three blocks while helping her team hit at a .350 clip compared to just .046 for the Toreros.
Jones-Perry collects WCC weekly honors for the second straight week and the third time in 2018. She also garnered WCC nods on Sept. 4, 2017.
