Earlier today we released an article about Rachel Rosequist, a commit to the Tampa Beach volleyball program. She’s not the only future addition for the program, as her sister, Valerie Rosequist, has committed to the team as well.
A class of 2018 recruit, Valerie Rosequist will join Tampa University in 2018 with her first season of play ahead in the spring of 2019.
A 5’7″ outside hitter indoors for Lakota East High School in Liberty Township, Ohio, Rosequist plays in the sand for the Ohio Valley Beach Volleyball Club. She’s even played with her sister in several USA Volleyball sanctioned tournaments, ranking as high as third at the Ohio Valley Region Cincinnati event to go with three other top 10 finishes.
Every addition is vital for the University of Tampa, who is in their first season as a program in 2018. The addition of not just Valerie but Rachel as well gives the team more depth and talent for 2019.
I am happy to say that I have committed to the University of Tampa to play beach volleyball and continue my education! Shout out to the girlies, couldn’t have done it without you guys(: pic.twitter.com/xDnipGlTio
