Class of 2019 recruit Grace Cook has committed to the Missouri State beach volleyball program. That will enable Cook to join the Bears in 2019 in preparation of her freshman season in the spring of 2020.

Cook plays both indoors and in the sand in her prep career at the moment. The 5’7″ product from Arizona gets her experience on the beach playing with RPM Sand, who has produced a plethora of other collegiate commitments.

Indoors, she plays with her high school – Sandra Day O’Connor High School – in Phoenix, Arizona. She helped her squad to a 31-12 record this past season as a junior in which she notched 93 digs (1.8 per set) as a defensive specialist according to her MaxPreps profile.

Missouri State’s beach team is in its first year as a program, as they have just one match under their belt thus far – a 4-1 loss to Nebraska. Cook becomes the first commit for Missouri State recorded in our database, as the Bears also have a few additions coming on for 2018-19 in Kylee Davis and Abby Jackson.
