Dan Altro Resigns As Dominican Head Coach

Dominican College Head Women’s Volleyball Coach, Dan Altro, has resigned his position effective August 14th as was announced by Director of Athletics, Joseph S. Clinton.

“It is with a heavy heart that I resign my position,” Altro said.  “Due to circumstances beyond my control, I will not be able to continue coaching.  I thank Joe Clinton and the entire Dominican College Athletic Department for this opportunity.”

Altro was at the helm of the Lady Chargers for the past four seasons.  He guided the team to three Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament appearances.

“We wish Dan all the best in his future endeavors,” said Clinton.

Clinton announced that assistant coach, Kinikia Collier-Reid (’09), has been named Interim Head Coach for the 2017 season.
