2017 EUROPEAN BEACH VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS – MEN’S DRAW

CEV partner Infront Sports & Media has reached licensing agreements with broadcasters in over 110 countries to broadcast the final of the 2017 European Beach Volleyball Championships.

Ironically, that broadcaster list doesn’t mention anything about a broadcast partner in Italy or Latvia, which are the home countries of the two men’s finalists – and Latvia is also the host country of the tournament. That match will be played between Paolo Nicolai/Daniele Lupo of Italy and Aleksandrs Samoilovs/Janis Smedlins

The women’s tournament will play the semi-finals in the morning and then the finals at 16:15 local time. Regardless of how the women’s semi-finals turn out, the finalists will be aired live in their home countries. Germany, Czech Republic, and Poland, the three countries represented in the semi-finals, all have broadcast deals.

Fortunately for Italian and Latvian fans, as well as those in all other countries without a deal, the matches will be streamed in their entirety on the CEV YouTube Channel.
