Season tickets for the 2018 University of Hawai‘i men’s volleyball season go on sale Monday, Dec. 4. Packages for the 19-match home schedule includes the three regular-season tournaments, including the 24th annual Outrigger Resorts Invitational, which moved out its traditional January timeslot to early March.
Tickets can be purchased online at HawaiiAthletics.com, at the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office (Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm), or by calling 944-2697. UH-Manoa students who pay the athletics fee receive admission with validated ID.
The 2018 season marks the inaugural year of the Big West Conference. UH will host two new tournaments – Texaco Rainbow Warrior Classic, Jan. 4-6, which features USC, Juniata, and Stevens Institute of Technology and the Waikīkī Beachcomber by Outrigger Classic, Feb. 1-3, featuring Sacred Heart, Thompson Rivers, and Lees-McRae.
The Outrigger Resorts Invitational runs March 8-10 will include a star-studded lineup featuring NCAA Championship participants BYU of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation and Penn State of the Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association along with Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association runner-up Lewis.
UH will host a pair of non-conference series against MPSF members UCLA, Jan. 26 & 28 and Concordia, March 2 & 4 while the Big West slate includes traditional two-match series with UC Irvine (Feb. 23 & 25), UC San Diego (March 30-31), and Long Beach State (April 13-14).
