It is time for the third week of the 2017 beach volleyball season, with #1 USC remaining in their original position and looking to stay there after facing another two top-five squads.
#2 Pepperdine is looking to keep their momentum moving forward after taking down #4 Florida State in a tight 3-2 battle this past weekend. The Wave will take on #6 Long Beach State and #10 Arizona State in their toughest bouts this coming week.
The Outrigger Hawaii Invitational will proved to be the toughest tournament of the week with four top-10 teams competing. The invitational will feature #1 USC, #4 Florida State, #5 Hawaii and #7 Arizona. Florida State looks to recover after falling to both #2 Pepperdine and #3 UCLA last week.
#8 LSU, who is ranked the highest in program history, will face #10 South Carolina at their home tournament. Also ranked at #8 Georgia State will take on #12 Stetson who has faced possibly the more difficult first two weeks out of any beach squad.
