Lindsey Peterson Earns Division III National Player Of The Year

The NCAA Division III Women’s Volleyball season is coming to a close, with that players and coaches of the year are selected.

The TeamSnap/AVCA Division III National Player of the Year has been awarded to Lindsey Peterson of the University of Northwestern-St. Paul. She is the first national player of the year for the program, has earned AVCA First-Team All-American honors and has been awarded back-to-back UMAC Player of the Year awards. Her 2016 stats are 4.78 K/S, .284 Hitting %, 4.31 D/S, 0.51 B/S.

Each coach selected in will represent their region on the AVCA National Coach of the Year ballot. The award will be officially presented on December 15 at the 2016 American Volleyball Coaches Association Convention in Columbus, Ohio.
