Little Rock volleyball takes to the road for the fourth straight weekend as it finishes up nonconference play at the Billiken Invitational on the campus of Saint Louis University in St. Louis beginning on Friday. The Trojans will face Louisiana Tech on Friday at 4:30 p.m., Saint Louis on Saturday at noon and DePaul on Saturday at 4:30 p.m., with all matches will taking place at Chaifetz Pavilion.

Little Rock holds a 16-9 series lead against Louisiana Tech with the last match coming in 2010. Before the Trojans’ loss in that game, Little Rock had won 10 straight against the Lady Techsters. In neutral site matches, Little Rock is 5-2 all-time against Louisiana Tech.

Little Rock and Saint Louis will meet for the first time since 2005 on Saturday afternoon. This is the only match of the weekend in which the Trojans don’t have the edge in the all-time series as the Billikens have a 5-1 lead. Little Rock’s only victory in the series came in 1993. This will be Little Rock’s first visit to Saint Louis since 1991 — the Trojans’ first year in Division I.

Saturday will mark the first-ever meeting between Little Rock and DePaul. The Trojans have only played three matches against current Big East teams and hold a 2-1 record against them. This will be Little Rock’s first match against a current Big East school since 2007.

  • The Trojans and Lady Techsters last met in 2010.
  • This will be Little Rock’s first visit to Saint Louis since joining Division I in 1991.
  • The Trojans’ lone win against the Billikens came in 1993.
