Long Beach State put 3 players on the All-MPSF First Team, led by conference Player of the Year TJ DeFalco, while Hawaii put 7 players (their entire starting lineup, plus their libero) on one of the 4 All-MPSF teams named on Thursday.
The 12-team MPSF has 12 spots available on its first team, 12 available on its second team, 12 on its 3rd team, and 6 on the freshman team. Each of the conference’s teams had at least one representative, aside from Cal Baptist – who went winless in the league.
Just two freshman made the first, second, or third teams – and both were on the third team. That included freshman middle blocker Scott Stadick, the conference’s Freshman of the Year, and UCLA middle blocker Daenan Gyimah.
