After posting a 4-0 record on the week, LSU’s Claire Coppola/Kristen Nuss have been named the AVCA Beach Pair of the Week. The duo took on the Gamecock Grand Slam, facing three ranked opponents – to which they did not drop a set.
With the 4 wins at the Gamecock Grand Slam, Coppola/Nuss have improved their overall record to 12-4 for the 2018 season.
The Tigers are now 7-9 for the year and went 1-3 over the past week. LSU will return to the sand as they host the Tiger Beach Challenge from March 24-25. There they will face off against 5 opponents- #20 Florida Atlantic, #17 Stetson, New Orleans, College of Charleston and #18 Tulane.
