Earvin Ngapeth continues to impress in the Italian Men’s League, as he just broke a serving record in Azimut Modena‘s match against Biosi Indexa Sora. In the match, Ngapeth was a huge threat behind the service line, posting 12 aces in the team’s four-set win.

Overall in the match, Ngapeth put down 26 points to lead all players.

Recently, Ngapeth has come under fire in Modena as he and his brother Swan left the club briefly after a fallout with the team’s head coach. Since then, they have resolved their issues with both back on the squad. Ngapeth has topped the team’s scoring in the matches since his return, being named MVP of both. In the match that he was absent, the team lost to Kioene Padova at home.

Up next, Modena will hit the road to take on Gi Group Monza in the 16th round of the Italian Men’s League. Modena is looking to continue their winning ways in order to build up their point total and move up in the rankings from #3.
