OGDEN, Utah – Northern Arizona’s Kaylie Jorgenson and Idaho State’s Haylie Keck were recognized as the #BigSkyVB Players of the Week. Jorgenson was named the Offensive Player of the Week, while Keck earned Defensive Player of the Week honors.
Jorgenson, a senior outside hitter from Saskatchewan, Canada, was the lead force of an NAU offense that attacked at a .326 clip and averaged 15.33 kills per set in two 3-0 sweeps against Montana State and Montana this past weekend. Jorgenson averaged 3.83 kills per set and hit .351 in the two matches combined, while accounting for 4.00 points per set. Jorgenson also tallied double-doubles in both matches, bringing her season total to 12. Jorgenson opened the two-match homestand by hitting a blistering .478 against the Bobcats – a season-high for the outside hitter – and registered 12 kills on just 23 attempts. She followed that up with 11 kills against the Grizzlies, hitting .265, in the Saturday sweep.

Keck, a junior libero from Iona, Idaho, collected 56 digs on the weekend to average 8.00 per set. She recorded a career-high 38 digs against Weber State which ranks No. 3 on ISU’s single match records list. On serve receive she had just one error on 34 attempts for a .971 percentage. Additionally, she added six assists and a service ace this weekend.
