The Netherlands are returning a strong lineup for the 2017 Women’s CEV European Championships that led them to the Final Six of the 2017 World Grand Prix this summer.
Celeste Plak will lead this front, as she was the top-scorer for the Dutch squad at the Grand Prix with 142 points on 121 kills, 11 blocks and 10 aces. Plaks leadership on the court along with Anne Buijs who was also a top-10 scorer in the preliminary round with 132 points will take the Dutch team far in the European Championships. Also returning for the European Championships are Robin De Kruijf in the middle, who had 92 points at the Grand Prix.
The Netherlands and Team USA tied for fifth place at the World Grand Champions Cup, after losing their opening two matches of the Final Six.
