The No. 4 Texas volleyball team is getting ready to take on No. 13 BYU today at 3 PM CST.

The team is looking to get back to the finals for revenge this season, after they dropped a three setter to Nebraska in the 2015 championship match.

The first two rounds have been cake-walks for the Longhorns, with two three set sweeps over UT Rio Grande Valley and SMU. They are looking to compete with BYU, where the Longhorns last win against the team was sweep back in 2008.

“There is a little bit of pressure, mostly because of the name on our back. People expect us to get to final fours. You have to take it one game at a time,” said junior Ebony Nwanebu.

The team has a rich history of making to the late rounds of the tournament, so the pressure is on to keep up the tradition.

The coaching state is taking it one match at a time, focusing on their team and what they nee to do to win.

“Our concern is play well against BYU and find a way to win that match, its going to be a battle,” said head coach Jerritt Elliott.
