NORCECA Announces Men’s Pan Am Cup Slate

2017 norceca Pan-American Cup – Men

The full slate for the NORCECA Men’s Pan American Cup has been released. The event, which will be played July 25-30 in Canada, features eight teams.

Group A includes Cuba, the Dominican Republic, the United States and Mexico.

Group B is made up of Argentina, Canada, Puerto Rico and Venezuela.

Action begins on July 25 for each pool with two matches a day planned for three days to decide the quarterfinalists and classification positions. The quarterfinals will be played July 28, while the semifinals take place July 29. The final placings, including the podium positions, will be decided on July 30.

Pool A begins with Cuba facing the Dominican Republic and the USA taking on Mexico.

Pool B action starts with Argentina against Puerto Rico and Canada battling Venezuela.

Cuba is the defending champion, taking the title in 2016 over Argentina, while Canada rounded out the podium finishers.
