Camryn Moeller and Vanja Bukilić will join the Ohio State women’s volleyball program for the 2018 season after signing National Letters of Intent. They are the latest additions to the 2018 class, which includes Mia Grunze and Adria Powell.

Moeller is a four-year letterwinner at Troy High School. The defensive specialist is a two-time captain and three-time all-league selection. She helped the Trojans to four straight GWOC North championships and was named to the All-District 9 team multiple times. As a junior, she broke the school record for kills in a match with 29 kills. During her senior campaign, she was tabbed as the District 9 and GWOC North Player of the Year. Moeller set the program record for kills in a season with 314 during her final year. She also lettered in softball and track, where she picked up all-league honors and two GWOC championships. Moeller is a member of the Elite Volleyball Training Center.

Coach Carlston on Camryn: “Camryn is such a cool addition to our family. She’s smart, athletic and motivated. She is a great addition that adds depth to our roster and ball-control position.”

Bukilić is making her way to Columbus by way of Serbia. The six-foot-six opposite hitter has spent five years competing at XIV Belgrade Gymnasium and has served as the team captain. A two-time junior all-state best opposite hitter, she qualified for the U23 World Championship and was named the European best player of the match with Russia in 2016. Bukilić comes from an athletic family. Her father, Anton, played professional handball in France, Sweden, Spain and Portugal. He was also a member of the Yugoslavian and Serbian national teams.

Coach Carlston on Vanja: “It’s been so cool to get to know Vanja’s family, to spend time with them in Belgrade and have her connect with our team in such an authentic way. She is a talented young lady who will have an immediate and important impact on our Buckeye program.”
