Chemik Police won a pair of matches through rounds five and six of the Polish Women’s League to remain on top of the league. LKS Commercecon Lodz is close behind in second place following a two-match win streak.

To kick off a series of two matches, Chemik Police took down KS Palac Bydgoszcz in five sets. Katarzyna Zaroslinska led the way with 24 points in the tough win while Agnieszka Bednarek-Kasza posted 17 and Stefana Veljkovic slammed down 14. Veljkovic and Zaroslinska each posted 16 points in the team’s four-set win over Legionovia Legionowa while Natalia Medrzyk recorded 14 along with Malwina Smarzek‘s 10.

LKS Commercecon Lodz posted a three-set win over Legionovia Legionowo while Regiane Bidias recording 17 points in the match.
