Rapper Takeshi 6ix9ine showed up in the bleachers to watch a Clarkstown North High School volleyball game last Tuesday.
According to lohud, the Brooklyn-based rapper’s appearance was not well received by many members of the community in the audience.
6ix9ine’s, actually named Daniel Hernandez, admitted in court to using a 13-year-old girl in a sexual performance during an online video in 2015. He’s attempting to avoid both prison time and sex-offender status by agreeing to a youthful offender plea deal. The then 22-year-old Hernandez is required to complete 300 hours of community service, earn a high school equivalency diploma, and avoid re-arrest as part of the plea deal.
While the plea deal has been ongoing, 6ix9ine’s sentencing for the alleged crime is scheduled to take place this week on October 26th.
On top of those charges, 6ix9ine was arrested in New York this past July after allegedly choking a 16-year-old in Houston in January. He has also been involved in continued alleged illegal activity as the result of feuds with other rappers.
Due to his alleged criminal activity there were mixed reactions about his attendance at the high school game.
