#3 Wisconsin def. #20 Purdue 3-0 (25-23, 25-19, 26-24)

3rd-ranked Wisconsin tallied its 3rd win of the Big Ten season with a sweep on the road at 20th-ranked Purdue Saturday night. The Badgers made a season-low .218 attack percentage work, as they held the Boilermakers to a .194 attack percentage in the matchup.

In the first set, Wisconsin got off to a hot start, going up 8-2 early over Purdue. The Boilermakers made a late run for it, cutting the deficit to one, 24-23, before a service error gave the Badgers a 25-23 win.

Wisconsin broke a string of 7 ties with a 4-0 run midway through the second set. The Badgers never trailed from there and eventually tallied the 25-19 victory.

After trailing late 21-17 in the third set, the Badgers fought back with a 9-3 stretch to earn the sweep with a 26-24 win.

Dana Rettke (15 kills) and Madison Duello (12 kills) led the Badgers offensively. Sydney Hilley posted 33 assists, while Molly Haggerty logged 10 digs.

Sherridan Atkinson led the Boilermakers with 11 kills, while Hayley Bush notched 33 assists and Brooke Peters recorded 14 digs.

For the first time this year, Wisconsin was outblocked by its opponent (9 to 6).
