Purdue snapped a 13-match losing skid against Penn State, rallying from down 20-13 to steal away Set 3 and continuing on to victory after trailing 2-0 in the match.
Favored teams claimed Big Ten victories on Friday night. 4th-ranked Penn State, 3rd-ranked Minnesota, 6th-ranked Wisconsin and 21st-ranked Purdue all secured wins to continue their win streaks.
#7 Wisconsin and #23 Purdue both took care of business at home on Sunday with wins over #25 Iowa and Ohio State. Maryland went on the road to Indiana and swept the Hoosiers.
All six home sides held court on Friday in the Big Ten, including upset wins by Indiana and Northwestern, who moved past Ohio State and Michigan State respectively. Illinois and Wisconsin each went the distance for wins over Michigan and Nebraska.
