Sada Cruzeiro Remains Undefeated In Brazil Men’s Superliga

In the Brazilian Superliga women’s division, Rexona-Ades is leading the pack by one win.

Rexona-Ades has posted a 10-1 record on the season, thus far, with Osasco close behind at a 9-2 record. Each of these two squads swept their last opponents two weeks ago. Rexona-Ades swept Praia Clube (8-3) by scores of 25-20, 25-11, 25-21, while Osasco defeated Volei Bauru (8-3) 25-22, 25-18, 25-13.

Winning the previous four Superliga’s Rexona-Ades is on pace to make it five years in a row.

The next matches for the women’s side are set to resume on January 6, 2017, starting with Praia Clube vs Valinhos (0-11) and Rio do Sul (3-8) vs Sesi (1-10).

On the men’s side, Sada Cruzeiro holds a dominate lead over the rest of the field at an 11-0 record. The team swept their last opponent, Brasil Volei Clube (8-3) by scores of 25-21, 25-22, 25-20.

Sada Cruzeiro has won the previous three Superliga championships and are looking to take number four.

All men’s teams resume play on January 7, 2017, with top-ranked Sada Cruzeiro taking on Sao Bernardo (3-11).
