BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Head Coach Keylor Chan and the Samford University volleyball program officially launched its $100,000, 24-month Development Campaign Tuesday in an aggressive plan to raise money for a state-of-the-art locker room renovation, budget enhancement and a foreign mission trip.

Samford’s tactful, forward-thinking campaign is titled “Together Today for Excellence Tomorrow” and was officially initiated May 1. The Bulldogs’ series of projects will be fulfilled in a series of three phases.

The first phase is Samford’s locker room renovation and the goal is $45,000 by Sept. 1, 2018. As of May 1, the Bulldog Volleyball Program had already received commitments of over $35,000 to get the project started and on track.

Samford’s second phase of the development campaign is for the program’s budget enhancement, where the goal is to raise $25,000 by June 1, 2019. Additionally, the final phase of Samford’s $100,000, 24-month fundraising campaign will be a foreign tour. The goal for the Bulldogs’ upcoming mission trip is to raise $30,000 by Feb. 1, 2020.
