After the first round pools in the European qualifier tournament for the 2017 FIVB Men’s U21 World Championship – Germany, Belgium, Serbia and Bulgaria finished at the top of their pools.
The two best runner-ups – Latvia and France – of the four pools also qualified for the second round match ups that are to take place in May. The qualifiers from the first round will join Poland and the Ukraine in the second round. The Czech Republic is an automatic CEV bid to the tournament, as they are to host the event.
Round two of the European qualifiers are as follows:
Pool E: Ukraine, Serbia, Bulgaria, France
Pool F: Poland, Germany, Belgium, Latvia
The winners of these pools will advance to the 2017 FIVB Men’s U21 World Championships that are set to take place in the Czech Republic, June 23-July 2.
Other teams that have already qualified for the event include – Egypt from Africa, Argentina from South America, China and Iran from Asia and the USA from NORCECA.
