After a big week of NCAA volleyball, conferences have deemed their top players of the week.

Stanford’s Kathryn Plummer and Audriana Fitzmorris picked up this week’s Pac-12 Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively. The two helped the Cardinals to their 17th Pac-12 title as they swept USC and rallied back for a five-set win over UCLA this week.

Melanie McHenry of Louisville played a crucial role in the Cardinals wins over NC State and UNC this week to put them in the front of the ACC. McHenry put down 43 kills on a .327 hitting percentage along with 15 digs and eight blocks on her way to the ACC Player of the Week honor.

Carly Skojdt was tabbed the Big Ten Player of the Week after helping Michigan to two upset wins over top-25 teams this week. Along with the Big Ten honor, Skojdt was deemed the best player in the country this week, by being honored by the AVCA as their player of the week. Illinois’ Brandi Donnelly has come back from an injury in style, by scooping up another Defensive Player of the Week honor – her second of the month. Dana Rettke and Sydney Hilley claimed Freshman and Setter of the Week, respectively, for Wisconsin this week as Rettke now has a record nine Freshman of the Week honors.

From the Big 12, Iowa State’s Jess Schaben became the 10th player in program history to reach 1,000 career kills to pick up to the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week. Also picking up Big 12 honors are Kansas State’s Macy Flowers and Texas’ Ashley Shook.
