Just weeks before the 2017 beach season opens up, Summer Ross and Brooke Sweat will partner up for the season.

The pair announced on Instagram that they will be teaming up for 2017, despite Sweat having just gotten a new partner, Emily Day, for the Trinidad & Tobago NORCECA tournament on 25-27. Sweat and Day took third at the event.

Last season, Sweat was partnered with Lauren Fendrick up until the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, while Ross was paired with Lane Carico. Ross and Carico had the most points in the women’s tour last season.

Ross and Sweat look to make their mark on beach this season in the first event of the season in Fiji, a small one-star tournament to start off the season. The first five-star tournament will be the Fort Lauderdale Major in Florida from February 7-12.
