The TCU volleyball team will kick-off the spring season with four matches, all taking place within the state of Texas over the next two months as announced by Director of Volleyball Jill Kramer on Friday.

“Our team’s effort has been great in the spring season and we are looking forward to playing against some competition other than ourselves in March and April,” Kramer said. “The spring is always important to our program’s progress because it’s when our student-athletes have the opportunity to really push themselves to develop as athletes in the weight room and in conditioning, hone their skills in the gym and strengthen our team systems.”

The spring season will begin on March 3 as the Horned Frogs travel to San Antonio to take on UTSA at 5 p.m. TCU will continue action on the road as they travel to Texas State in San Marcos, Texas for a match on Saturday, April 7.

The team will return home for the final two weekends of action as they host SMU on Friday, April 13 to The Rickel. The spring season will conclude on Saturday, April 21 as the Frogs welcome the TCU volleyball alumni back to the home gym for a match.

TCU finished the 2017 season by advancing to the postseason for the third straight season as the team appeared in the semifinals of the NIVC. The Frogs return 14 letterwinners from a squad that posted 13 overall wins and four in Big 12 play.
